Recently i have discovered my favorite book of all time, The Secret Life of Bees, By: Sue Monk Kidd. This book is honestly inspiring and i feel is just for be, because of my ambitions and things that i want to do with my life, it makes me feel like i can just do anything and makes me really appreciated the little things in life. One Line in particular that stood out to me
"I had no idea what kind of world I was actually living in, and maybe the teachers at my school didn't know either, the way they talked about everything being nothing but carbon and oxygen and mineral, the dullest stuff you can imagine."
"You know, some things don't matter that much, Lily. Like the color of a house. How big it is that in the over all scheme of life? But lifting a person's heart-- now that, that matters."
Now if after reading this you don't just want to fall over and die with love, you can leave because i guess these statements just speak to me and make me want to live in the south with all of my heart.
