However on the bright side! its CHRISTMAS TIME!

I could not be more happy! yesterday i watched the Grinch, and today im watching the Polar Express! cozy socks and the hotchocolate mugs have come out and they are staying for a while! i've already made a christmas list and started making/ buying presents! i love christmas time and everthing about it! the snow has fallen and the roads are icy and cold, the wind hits you in the face as you come out of your warm house in the morning. you might hate it. but i love it! its a small reminder that the happiest time of the year is here! people are happy! its the time of year for service and being with your loved ones. looking out for others and keeping others in your prayers. i know i wish that it was always like this where people were so giving and wanting to do more for others. but unfortonutaly thats not how it is. but im soaking up the season.... and so should you!

Sarah surpised me and brought me my favorite person in the whole world. Jackie Aaron. she is my best friend. basically and she moved out to Eagle Mountain at the beginning of the summer. we had a reunion at the temple and took pictures. it was fabulous :)

Yesterday, my family and I went to the fair. not only is the atmosphere just fun, it takes you back to being a little kid, at least it does for me. How big everything looks, the cotton candy, sno cones ;) the rides, and all the people everywhere, you just feel lost. but at the same time, your content. because there are beautiful lights everywhere, your with the people you care about most. and your simply there just to have fun. bottom line. i love going to the fair. im really glad i got to go this year :)me and April. we tried so hard to get a good picture. it was a struggle.

Girls this is for you

this is to every girl that thinks they aren't good enough.

to the girls that walk into school every morning looking at what other girls are wearing and think "why cant i look like that" "if only i had enough money to buy those clothes" "i wish i was that skinny".. why do we do this to ourselves? we always want to be other people.. when the truth is those people we want to be are wishing that they were someone else too.

that is the problem, we are constantly fighting with ourselves that we aren't good enough because that is what we hear all dayy long, anywhere you look.. you will see something telling you that you should be better and that your just simply not good enough.

lets face it. we will never please everyone. so why do we always try to? just be yourself and forget about anyone who tells you what your suppose to be. because honestly they don't matter in your world. just be yourself! please. i know easier said than done. but honestly im pretty sure its worth it. your worth it! :)

The Secret Life of Bees

Recently i have discovered my favorite book of all time, The Secret Life of Bees, By: Sue Monk Kidd. This book is honestly inspiring and i feel is just for be, because of my ambitions and things that i want to do with my life, it makes me feel like i can just do anything and makes me really appreciated the little things in life. One Line in particular that stood out to me

"I had no idea what kind of world I was actually living in, and maybe the teachers at my school didn't know either, the way they talked about everything being nothing but carbon and oxygen and mineral, the dullest stuff you can imagine."
